Who we are and what this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how PowderKeg Intelligence LLC ("PowderKeg," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the dumbest.ai application, website, subscriptions, and related features or contact us (together, the "Service"). PowderKeg is the controller of personal information covered by this Policy unless stated otherwise.

Please read this Policy with our Terms of Service. Third-party services you choose to use are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Information we collect

Account and profile information

We may collect contact and profile details, account identifiers, authentication and verification information, account settings, and account activity. If you use a third-party sign-in service, we receive the information that service makes available according to your settings. We do not receive a readable copy of a password managed by a sign-in provider.

Content and Service activity

We collect content you submit or create through the Service, including text, prompts, messages, images, audio, files, feedback, and support communications; generated responses and transcripts; content you choose to save; relevant context needed to provide a requested feature; and associated activity information such as timestamps, settings, usage status, and error information. The content collected depends on the features you choose to use and what you choose to submit.

Content may contain personal information depending on what you choose to submit. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, confidential information, or sensitive health, financial, legal, or other personal information. Dumbest is an entertainment service, not a safe place for secrets.

Purchase and subscription information

Purchases are processed by the applicable app marketplace or payment provider. We may receive transaction identifiers, product and subscription details, purchase and renewal status, region, and related support information. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Device, network, usage, and diagnostic information

We record your declared age group and your privacy choices, including AI processing permission. We do not ask for your full birth date. The Service is available only to adults aged 18 and over. Optional analytics and crash reporting are off until you choose to turn them on. Essential service, billing, security, and abuse-prevention processing still takes place.

We and our service providers may automatically collect device and operating-system information, app or browser version, language, IP address and approximate region, advertising and app identifiers, network and request information, feature and ad interactions, security and integrity signals, and crash, error, and performance data.

Website and support information

Website and network providers may process ordinary server-log information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and request time. If you contact us, we collect your contact details, message, attachments you choose to send, and information needed to respond and maintain appropriate records.

Sources of information

We collect personal information:

• directly from you when you use or contact the Service;
• automatically from the app, website, device, or network through which you use the Service; and
• from service providers, such as identity, app marketplace, payment, hosting, advertising, analytics, security, support, and AI providers.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
• provide, personalize, and maintain the Service;
• process submitted content and generate, moderate, store, and display responses and other requested results;
• administer purchases, subscriptions, usage limits, and customer support;
• understand performance, diagnose errors, and develop or improve features and the entertainment experience;
• display, personalize, limit, and measure advertising and prevent advertising fraud;
• prevent fraud, abuse, unsafe activity, and security incidents, and enforce our Terms;
• respond to support, legal, and privacy requests; and
• comply with law, protect rights and safety, maintain required records, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Artificial intelligence processing

Before you send chat or Council messages, we ask for your permission to share your messages and relevant conversation context with third-party AI service providers that generate replies and check messages for safety. You can turn off new AI processing in Profile → Privacy choices. This stops new chat and Council requests; it does not delete content already stored or processing already underway.

To provide AI-powered features, we and our AI service providers process the content you submit, relevant context, generated output, and limited technical information. This processing may include generation, moderation, abuse prevention, and reliability functions. Content and output may be stored when needed to provide features such as history, saved content, safety, support, and account administration.

We and our service providers may use content, output, feedback, and related information to operate, protect, evaluate, develop, and improve the Service and related systems. This may include human review and the evaluation or training of artificial intelligence models, subject to applicable law. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information that you do not want processed for these purposes.

Dumbest is intentionally designed to produce unreliable comedy. Automated safeguards cannot guarantee that every input or output will be safe, correct, or appropriate. See our Terms of Service before using any generated content.

When we disclose information

We may disclose personal information to:

• Service providers and processors that support hosting, identity, data storage, AI generation and safety, subscriptions and payments, advertising and measurement, analytics, diagnostics, security, communications, and customer support;
• Third parties you direct, such as an app marketplace, sign-in provider, sharing destination, or other service you choose to connect or use;
• Authorities and affected parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or protect rights, property, life, and safety; and
• Transaction participants in connection with due diligence, financing, a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information with your consent or at your direction. Content you choose to share outside the Service is controlled by the recipient or destination after it is shared.

Advertising, tracking, and sales

The Service may display ads using third-party advertising services, including Google's advertising services, to select, personalize, limit, and measure advertisements and to detect fraud and abuse. Advertising providers may collect or receive information such as IP address, device and advertising identifiers, app information, approximate location, interactions with the Service and advertisements, and diagnostic and performance data. Depending on your settings, consent choices, location, and applicable law, they may use this information with activity from other apps or services to personalize and measure advertising.

Google explains how it uses information from apps that use its services on its partner-services privacy page. You may be able to control ad personalization through choices presented in the Service, your device or platform settings, or the advertising provider's controls.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define disclosures for personalized or cross-context advertising as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising." Depending on where you live, you may have a right to opt out of those uses as described under Your privacy rights below.

The website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. This does not limit any privacy right or opt-out mechanism expressly provided by applicable law.

Legal bases for EEA and UK processing

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we process personal information as needed to perform our contract with you; pursue legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, improving, measuring, and monetizing the Service; comply with legal obligations; protect vital interests; or based on consent where requested, including for certain advertising activities. You may withdraw consent prospectively, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to applicable law.

Data retention

To help recover unsent messages, the app may temporarily keep drafts and unconfirmed messages in protected storage on your device. This local copy expires after a short period and is cleared when you sign out, delete your account, or wipe that conversation.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Retention depends on the type of information, whether your account remains active, your settings and deletion choices, operational and security needs, applicable provider retention periods, and legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Content associated with an account is generally retained until you delete it or the account, unless a shorter or longer period is necessary for the reasons above. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, caches, or processor systems until it is overwritten or deleted through ordinary cycles. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

Delete your account

You can delete your dumbest.ai account and associated data at any time, either in the app or by contacting PowderKeg Intelligence LLC. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.

Delete in the app

1. Sign in to dumbest.ai and open Profile.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Type DELETE, confirm, and verify your identity with your password or sign-in provider.

If deletion reports an error, try again. An interrupted request must finish before the account can be used again.

Request deletion without the app

Email support@dumbest.ai with the subject Delete my dumbest.ai account. Include the email address used for your account and say that you want your account and associated data deleted. Send the request from that address if possible; if you use Apple's Hide My Email, include the relay address shown in your Apple account settings. We may need to verify ownership before deleting anything and will confirm when deletion is complete.

Never send us your password, sign-in codes, or payment details.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes your sign-in account, profile, chats and messages, Council sessions, saved content, usage records, content reports you submitted, and the record we use to manage your subscription access.

Limited security and billing records are deleted automatically within 90 days. Information held by Apple, Google, or other service providers follows their retention policies, and deleted information may remain temporarily in backups until overwritten. We may keep information where the law requires it, as described under Data retention.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel DuhLuxe billing. Cancel through the store that bills you: Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. You can delete your account whether or not your subscription has expired.

Other controls, such as wiping a conversation or turning off AI processing, are available in the app at any time.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know about and access personal information; receive a portable copy; correct or delete information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; appeal a decision; and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

To exercise a right or appeal a decision, email us with the subject "Privacy Request." We may verify your identity and authority to make the request. Rights may be subject to legal exceptions, and we will explain a denial where required by law. We do not use solely automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about users.

International data transfers

PowderKeg is based in the United States. We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on legally recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device and credentials and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use.

Children

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over and is not available to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service, our practices, or the law changes. We will post the revised Policy and update the "Last updated" date. The version posted here is the current Policy. Changes will be handled as required by applicable law.
